UpRight Homebuilders LLC is run and managed by a life-long Houstonian. Scott Gerner attended local Cy-Fair High school, and is a 1991 Graduate of Sam Houston University with a B.B.A. in International Business, and Minor in Economics. He is a licensed custom homebuilder with the State of Texas, and a licensed property inspector. His passion for building better quality, upscale, energy-efficient homes with artistic design elements began in 1992, as a nationally licensed residential property inspector and consultant. His profession was centered on studying various construction methods and materials used in different regions around the United States, by evaluating thousands of individual homes in terms of weather resistance, durability, and energy-efficiency. After spending the better part of a decade evaluating residential construction, he accepted a position with a local Houston Texas based homebuilding firm who specialized in building full custom and semi-custom homes within the City limits of Houston TX. During his tenure, the company team was twice awarded “Greater Houston Builder of the Year” and received the J.D. Power and Associates Overall Top Award for Customer Satisfaction in Homebuilding.
UpRight Home Builders became a legally formed Limited Liability Company and Licensed Custom Homebuilder with the State of Texas, in 2004.
